Special Olympics Guam (SOGU) is the major provider of sporting opportunities for people with learning disabilities on the island of Guam.

SOGU provides equality of opportunity for all our athletes regardless of ability or degree of disability.

Since our formation in Guam, USA in 1976 as part of the worldwide movement, which was founded in the USA in 1968 by Eunice Kennedy Shriver, a wonderfully enthusiastic team of experts and volunteers are working hard to bring sports training, competition and sheer pleasure to hundreds of people with all levels of learning disabilities on Guam.

We hope that you will not only learn about our organization as you navigate through our website, but more importantly you will want to learn how to get involved or attend an event. Our hope is that you will find that enthusiasm and joy that make being part of Special Olympics Guam so important to us..

Special Olympics Guam inspires greatness amongst its Special Olympics Athletes. You can too, get involved today.
